Danica Patrick was the first woman ever to win the pole position at the Daytona 500 and on Sunday, she also became the first female to ever lead the race, but it didn't last. On the last lap of the race, she was in third, but by the time it was all over, she finished in eighth.
Jimmie Johnson ended up taking the race, which was overshadowed by Saturday's horrific crash that injured more than two dozen fans at the same track in a second-tier race.
