The laughter has turned to tears. The Aussie radio hosts responsible for the phone prank on the hospital treating Kate Middleton have apologized after public outrage following the death Friday of Jacintha Saldanha, the nurse who initially took their call.

As we reported earlier, the two hosts Mel Greig and Michael Christian have been pulled off the air.

Although police have not released Saldanha's cause of death, many have assumed it was related from the stress and humiliation of being involved in the prank. An autopsy on the nurse is set for Tuesday.
